Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 13, 2026
Accessibility matters to us at InsureCE. Every insurance professional should be able to track their CE credits and manage license renewals, regardless of ability. We are committed to making our website and mobile app usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, and we target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.
Insurance producers often manage licenses across multiple states, each with different CE categories and deadlines. We build our interface to handle that complexity in a way that works for all users -- whether you rely on a screen reader, keyboard navigation, or voice control software.
What we do
- •Provide skip navigation links so keyboard users can bypass repeated content.
- •Use semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA labels.
- •Maintain a minimum color contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- •Ensure all interactive elements are accessible by keyboard and have visible focus indicators.
- •Set a minimum touch target size of 44 by 44 pixels for mobile users.
- •Include alternative text for all meaningful images.
- •Label all form fields and provide clear error messages.
- •Set the page language attribute to help screen readers pronounce content correctly.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. This covers guidelines for perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust web content. We test with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and automated accessibility tools.
Accessibility for insurance professionals
We give extra attention to the multi-license views that insurance producers use daily. State requirement tables include proper row and column headers so screen readers can identify each cell. CE category breakdowns (ethics, general, state-specific) use both color coding and text labels, so users who cannot perceive color still get the full picture. Renewal countdown timers display as readable text, not just visual indicators. Our export feature produces properly structured PDF and CSV files that work with assistive technology.
Known limitations
While we work to make all content accessible, some areas may not yet fully meet every guideline. We are actively improving our site and app. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please let us know.
